Liam Porter resides in Hervey Bay, Queensland with his wife Renee and three young daughters Isla, Eden and Halle. Together they make the most of living near K'gari (Fraser Island), often travelling there for an adventure. Liam has always been an avid fantasy reader - a love which led him to start a career as a High School English teacher back in 2009 and still enjoys to this day. He is also an Australian Army Reservist, serving as a Rifleman with the 9th Royal Queensland Regiment since 2010 - a job that has provided plenty of excitement and action over the years.

He looks forward to the opportunity to keep telling the tale of Flynt Cunningham and Xanthe Bones - a story which planted its seed in his mind during the nights settling his girls as newborns.
